there is an actor
built in the same manner as one of sample actors
However, trigPlayer can't see it
How can I load a new actor to make it visible for TrigPlayer?

Did you add your actor to the list of Brew Extensions needed by the Trig? I don't think this step is specifically mentioned in the documentation. When adding an extension, you'll need to specify where the Trig can find the Actor's MIF, DLL, and/or MOD files.
For an example, load the Trig for the CircleActor example in the SDK. Double click on the Trig and you should see an icon that's labelled "Brew Extensions".
You'll also want to verify that the dependency exists by opening the MIF file for your Trig. Select the "Dependencies" tab and make sure the class Id for your Actor is included in the list.
