Hi,
I am totally new to the BREW development.
I have learned the basics of an application and I have constructed all the core logic of my application.
At this point I would like to create a nice UI and I see that there is the possibility of either using the BREW UI Widgets and Forms or using trigBuilder.
Which one you recommend and why?

I have tried to run the example Calculator which comes along with the BUIWF, but it's failing when setting the theme by means IROOTFORM_SetThemeFileName().
What could be wrong with the "theme.bar" which comes which the example?

Also, where can I find the AppCreator which I see mentioned all around?

Thank you in advance for any help.

BUIW forms and widgets are extension and TrigBuilder is a part of the UiOne SDK. You can use either one depending on the handset capabilites. Some handsets are UiOne based which has rich UI.
AppCreator is a part of recently launched Brew MP. You can download Brew MP from:

Thank you very much for your reply.
On the other hand does it mean that not all the devices have support for UiOne? If this is true, would it make sense to use BUIW forms and widgets?
What could be the pros and cons of using one or the other method?
As an aside question, does anyone have any idea how I could solve the problem I am facing with the IROOTFORM_SetThemeFileName() aforementioned?

Yes, not all brew device supports UIone. its support totally depends on OEM. What error code IROOTFORM_SetThemeFileName() is returing. Other option you can create your own custom UI.
Thanks,
Mahesh

Thanks.
At this point in order to get more devices covered, widgets and forms would be the more appropriate.
As it comes to the error in the calculator example, I am simply getting EFAILED (1) which isn't that explanatory.
Any help?
