Hi.
I'm trying to use GDB debugger. succeeded to load my module and run it.
However when I try to connect GDB debugger using "target remote COM3" COMMAND as shown below, it doesn't show connection related message but "COM3: No such file or directory".
so tried another formats like \\.\COM3 and \.\COM3. it has the same result.

Please help me with any comment to resolve this situation.

Thank you.
Sean,

Copied command window messages below:

Hi SeanYoon,
Is COM3 the Qualcomm USB Modem Port? Please check the Using CDB/Finding the COM ports section in the Debugging Primer and verify that COM3 is the correct port.
Thanks,
Karina

Thanks for the reply. Karinag,
Yes, Modem port is COM3.
Fortunately, recently I'm able to see gdb.exe in Cygwin\bin connecting with the CDB using the same modem port (COM3).
However, arm-none-eabi-gdb in Codesourcery, which is referred in Debugger primer, still has been responding at gdb prompt with "COM3: No such file or directory".

Hi Sean,
I checked with development and they suspect an old version of the USB driver may be the culprit.
What kind of device are you using? Are you using a current USB driver?
Thanks,
Karina
