Guys,

could anybody give extended comments about why every time after phone rebook we observe "Registering applications" message.

AFAIK, it is connected with scanning available MIF files and registering new applications. However, even if nothing new was uploaded on phone (I mean new mif files) this message still appears.

Is there anything I missed about the process of application registration?

That indicates that AppManager is trying to flush a pending ack. Basically an ack is sent after an application is downloaded or a preloaded application is activated. AppManager opens a connection to the ADS if one isn't available, then tries to process the ack. If the ack can't be flushed successfully, AppManager will try again on next reboot.

Thank you!

Thank you!

If my application has't passed True BREW Testing yet and I use sig file generated based on ESN number (not application specific) is that ok that I see "Registering application" notification every time I reboot the handset?
Could it be the reason that ack can't be flushed successfully?
Thanks!
