Hi All,
I am trying ARM RVDS 4.1 Evaluation version to compile and build my sample brew application. I have installed ARM and set the environment variables as well.
However, as soon as I give build on command prompt, I face following fatal error:

"Fatal error: C3903U: Argument '/--ropi/interwork/norwpi' not permitted for option 'apcs'"

I am giving nmake -f helloworld.mak all on command prompt window.
I tried to refer ARM reference guide for errors and warning and googled as well but no clue on error :(

Using windows Vista, Brew 3.1.4 SDK and attaching my sample makefile for reference. Any help will be appreciated

Thanks,
Avinash

Hi,
I resolved above problem by changing apcs settings as follows in makefile:
APCS = --apcs /ropi/rwpi/inter
earlier it was APCS = --apcs /$(ROPI)/$(INTERWRK)/norwpi.
Don't know why it was not working before.
however, now i am facing another strange error as follows:
"C:\PROGRA~1\BREW 3.1.4\sdk\inc\AEEStdLib.h", line 16: Error: #5: cannot open source input file "stddef.h": No such file or directory
stddef.h is file defined in visual studio INC folder. And so far I have never seen any brew make file including VS2008 files as well.
How can I remove above error?

Hi,
I included ARMINC flag also along with my compilation macros. where ARMINC is referring to the windows directory path under ARM\RVCT.
But unnecessarily all .CPP and even while compiling brew specific files, AEEModGen and AEEAppGen, I have to give $(ARMINC) option in compiler line.
Errors are no more because of this.
But ideally on 4.0 or any prior version of RVDS never asked me to include the path for stddef.h.
What could be the perfect solution? Please share if anyone having idea dealing with RVDS 4.1 professional.
Thanks,
Avinash
