Is there any class in Brew which a developer can extend so that that it has functionality of decoding video frames (mpeg/h264)?

In case of IMedia class, it has generic interfaces like play, record. So extending play would mean that onus of rendering video would be on it.

But on searching I could not find classes whether its IMedia or any other multimedia classes with interfaces like createDecoder, decodeFrame, etc.,

Any help could be appreaciated.

Thanks.

something like IImageDecoder??

something like IImageDecoder??

BREW already supports MPEG4 through IMediaVideo/IMedia, and you can get decoded frames via those interfaces.
If you're talking about adding support for any arbitrary media format, you can simply create a new class implementing the IMedia interface that handles the decoding.
