It seems that on this phone, when you press the volume keys, the volume display gets drawn on top of the application, but no suspend/resume events are sent. Supposedly this does not occur in other applications on the same phone.

Is there an event I should be returning true/false from to either pause when these keys are pressed or prevent the display from drawing on top of my app? Something else?

[EDIT] - It seems that the other apps were able to suppress the phone's volume display.

In case any one was interested, due to the nature of my application, I was able to pause the app by just reacting to EVT_KEY when the volume keys were pressed.
Also, the keycodes sent were not AVK_VOLUME_UP and AVK_VOLUME_DOWN; they were both AVK_UNDEFINED.
