Has anyone run emulator on linux using wine?

I tried doing it:

I copied the following dlls to my fedora core 6:

msvcp60.dll
mfc42u.dll
GPSServer.dll

and tried:
$wine BREW_Emulator.exe

It worked and was able to run helloworld on it.

But when I tried to use valgrind by installing one of the guis(http://valgrind.org/downloads/guis.html): Alleyoop:

$alleyoop wine BREW_Emulator.exe

Then ran helloworld, and I exited the emulator, but the valgrind could hook into it to give me any info.

I was just wondering to use tools like Valgrind to instrument the binaries and run memcheck, heapprofiler, helgrind, massif, kachecgrind etc on linux.

Has anyone tried doing the above or similar?

Thanks,

I have tried to run simulator on wine, but I got error "Failed to load or initialize the target.".
Has anyone succeeded in running simulator using wine in linux?
