Regarding File downloading

Hi
While downloading a image file or any file from a server i want to store that file in a cache or temporary directory which, if needed, can be removed later. Is there any support for temporary directory in brew FS in brew 3.1.5 handsets. Should i google the brew forums for the question regarding the file system in brew 3.1.5 handsets.
