Extension pricing scenario

Note: The following example uses a fixed percentage of 25 percent and a floor (minimum price) of $0.30.

Typical agreements state the developer gets 80 percent of the developer application price (DAP). Assuming a DAP of $2.00 for the using application, the extension developer receives 25 percent of the DAP, or $0.50 (25 percent of $2.00) each time the using application is downloaded.

If the DAP is $1.00, the extension developer receives $0.30 (the specified floor) because the percentage amount (25 percent of $1.00) yields less than the $0.30 floor.
