Purchase price method example

The Purchase price method is the only method that allows definition of up to three values for a single price basis.

The operator list price is maintained through the catalog management function. The list price can be set to be the same as, higher than, or lower than the DAP. If an application requires public extensions, the developer fee of the using application can be equal to, less than, or greater than the sum of any extensions associated with a Flat Fee price method. If the extension is priced using the percentage pricing method, the using application’s minimum developer fee is not constrained. If the developer fee is less than the floor (minimum), Qualcomm will invoice the developer for the extension fees.

An example of the Purchase price method follows, where the price basis is Fixed Uses.

Attributes Price point 1 Price point 2 Price point 3
Value 5 plays 10 plays Unlimited
DAP $1.00 $3.00 $7.00
