Waiver acceptance process

You can contact the operator to request waiving the test process on an item. Reasons include a failure test result you feel isn’t caused by your application or the time frame to resolve a failure is not acceptable for distributing the application to the Distribution Extranet. The process follows.

  1. Developer provides item ID and reason for the waiver request to operator.
  2. Operator requests a waiver from Qualcomm.
  3. Qualcomm Legal drafts the waiver agreement.
  4. Operator signs the agreement.
  5. Qualcomm assigns a waiver ID (TBT ID in the Brew Customer Portal) and makes the item available to the operator.

Once completed, verify the waiver has been accepted in the Distribution Extranet.
