ITRIGMLELEMENT_Trace()

Items marked as deprecated have been replaced by a more powerful, alternative feature. Deprecated interfaces include a reference to the replacement interface, which should be used for all new application development. Deprecated features are still supported for backward compatibility, but should be avoided when developing new applications.

Description
Issues a trace statement when attached to a TrigBuilder debugger.
Parameters
  • node
    []:
    the element whose details to use for the trace
  • type
    []:
    the type of the trace statement
  • category
    []:
    the category of the trace statement
  • pEvent
    []:
    an optional TrigmlEvent to include in the trace statement. An event should be included only if is the direct cause or result of the action being traced. To trace without including an event, pass NULL. To trace the Trigplayer's current event, pass the constant TRIGMLELEMENT_TRACE_CURRENT_EVENT.

This method is primarily intended for internal use and does NOT provide an extensible tracing API. For a general tracing API that you can use in your own extensions and actors, use ITRIGPLAYEREX_GetTrigmlDebug() and ITRIGMLDEBUG_Log().
