Build goals

A goal used in the make command specifies which of the targets in the makefile will be built.

Goals are defined in the rules.min file. There are several categories of goals that are supported by the make.d system:

Note: The current variant is specified by the variable V. If the variant is not specified on the command line, the default variant is the first word of EVERY_V.

  • Target goals
  • Installation goals
  • Packaging goals
  • Diagnostic and information goals
  • Makefile specific goals

This section describes the supported goals.
