The make.d directory

The make.d directory in the Brew MP platform contains the .min files for make.d, which contain the common rules and definitions for the make.d system.

The make.d directory contains the following:

defines.min

This file contains the standard defines used in the make.d system.

defines_.min

These files contain the compiler specific definitions, such as compiler and linker flags, tool paths, target extension names, and other compiler definitions. The supported compilers include ads12, rvct21, rvct22, and Win32.

V_.min

Each variant file specifies the target, flavor, and architecture flags for that variant.

rules.min

This is the primary rules file. It contains general rules on how to process source files into target files.

The make.d directory may also contain a site sub-directory which contains site specific definitions and rules:

defines.min

Site specific definitions.

defines_.min

These files contain site-specific compiler defines.

rules.min

This is the site-specific rules file.

V_.min

These files contain site-specific variant specifications.
