Qidlscript Compiler Help

This section describes how to run the qidlscript compiler.

QIDL, Qualcomm's version of the Object Management Group's Interface Definition Language (OMG IDL), is used to define interfaces that are independent of a specific programming language. The qidlscript compiler is a command line tool that accepts IDL files and BID files as input and generates the code needed to use the objects and interfaces in Lua scripts.

For more information on QIDL and the mapping of QIDL structures to Lua, see the QIDL Reference.

Note: This tool is deprecated as of Brew MP 1.0.4 and newer. The QIDLC Compiler is the replacement for this tool.
