Loader hangs

Problem Cause Solution
Loader hangs, and there is no obvious way to make it work. The underlying connection DLL might be in an unstable state.
  1. Close Loader.
  2. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
  3. In the Windows Security window, select Task Manager.
  4. Select the Processes tab.
  5. Scroll down and select the Loader.exe process, and click End Process.
  6. In case BTILOEM.DLL was selected in the Connection Manager, scroll down and select the BTILServer.exe or CONNECTServer.exe process and click End Process. Otherwise, select the OEMLayerServer.exe process and select End Process.
  7. Restart Loader.

Note: Do not restart the OEMLayerServer application.

Note: If this procedure does not get Loader running again, check to make sure the serial port connecting the device to your PC is enabled and working properly.
