Drawing to the display

When an application calls one of the IDisplay drawing functions, such as IDisplay_DrawRect(), IDisplay delegates the drawing to its device bitmap object. If the device bitmap object is enabled, it draws on the device bitmap buffer. The device bitmap object is disabled if the application does not currently have access to the display (because another application has access). For more information on display access, see IDisplay in the C/C++ API Reference.

The updated pixels remain in the device bitmap buffer until IDisplay_Update() is called to push the updated pixels to the LCD frame buffer.
