Log file content

The log file includes the following information:

  1. Total heap, maximum heap, and available heap from GETRAMFREE(). The number in the (..) next to "Avail Heap" indicates the change in available heap since the last log entry.
  2. The first log entry lists all the currently running applets (APPLET RUNNING) and heap usage for the containing module. The heap usage includes the maximum amount of heap used (MaxUsed) and the current amount of heap used by the module, calculated through Heap_GetModuleMemStats(). All the subsequent log entries show:
    1. NEW APPLET: any new applet that has started since the last log entry and the heap usage for the applet's containing module.
    2. APPLET EXITED: any applet that has exited since the last log entry and the heap usage for the applet's containing module before it exited.
    3. APPLET CHANGED: any applet whose heap usage for its containing module has changed since its last log entry and the heap usage with the change indicated in (..)
  3. The total heap usage change accumulated from all the heap usage change from the modules that contain the running applets.

Note: This value is not accurate if there are multiple running applets contained in the same module.

  4. The total heap usage change that is not accounted for. This value is calculated by subtracting 3. from the change of total available heap from GETRAMFREE().
