Viewport widget

The viewport widget displays a portion of a larger content area. It is similar to a window that floats above a content area and limits the current field of view, but is able to move over the content to bring hidden content into view. 

Viewport widgets are usually decorated with scrollbars or scroll indicators that allow the user to scroll other parts of a display into view

The following figure shows an example of a viewport widget wrapping a static widget. The viewport widget is decorated by scrollbars.
