The BREW PKM 3.1.5 SP03(3.1.5.189) release is based upon the BREW Client version 3.1.5. This release consolidates the feature package and patch updates since BREW PKM 3.1.5 SP02 into a full kit. This release provides the capability to 1) configure whether or not BREW Handler-directed messages for which a handler is not registered with BREW are consumed by BREW and 2) enable/disable the support of Hysteresis Activation Timer-related BREW APIs. 3D BREW applications can now be developed with ease using this OpenGL ES 1.5.5 extension for the BREW 4.0.2 SDK. This OpenGL ES 1.5.5 extension plug-in includes support for a new API for configuring ITEMs of pitch information for 3D Graphics plane and also fixes the potential compilation error introduce in previous OpenGL ES 1.5.4 extension release. It requires the BREW SDK version 4.0.2 update.

The QX Engine™ software developer's kit (SDK) is designed to provide BREW developers with tools to take full advantage of all the OpenGL ES hardware accelerated 3D graphics features available on QUALCOMM's MSM™ chipsets. The QX Engine SDK provides the main tool and application program interface (API) for developers to rapidly prototype high-performance 3D models and animation for BREW applications. QX Engine enables artists using standard 3D modeling packages to create the content required to put together a compelling 3D BREW game.

The License Editor is a GUI tool that creates new licensing information for selected Module Information Files (MIFs) and edits a MIF's licensing information to expedite testing.

In order to pass TRUE BREW® Testing, BREW applications are required to work under induced scenarios of adverse Embedded File System (EFS) conditions (refer to test case 5.2.2 "Maximum File Count" in the TRUE BREW Test Guide). MaxFileCnt2 is a BREW application to assist developers in preparing their device for these adverse EFS conditions.
